In addition to fantastic Plains Game Hunting, it’s quite a lot of fun and relaxing to take a bit of down time and hunt some African varmints. Some of these animals have quite low “Trophy Fees” and others are totally free of charge.

You can hunt midday for some animals like Rock Hyrax, basking in the sun on rock piles or walls around abandoned farms.

Or, you can try your hand at predator calling and bring in animals like the Black-Backed Jackal, South Africa’s version of the American Coyote.

Or roam the tracks and grassveldt after dark with a spot-light and a .22 rimfire rifle.

Springhare come out after dark and make for a fun and challenging after dinner shoot and African Porcupines are a unique and interesting trophy.
