Well, it sounds like you have the right attitude going into the tournament!  Unless you're fishing at a higher level than "we" would, having fun has to be in the equation.

I'm a firm believer in the "If it ain't fun, I ain't doing it" theory.

Well am taking a relaxed attitude towards it,been years since I had a night out, have to regester the day before on friday and draw a pard.

Never been on the lake pior so going just to enjoy myself,if i actually catch a fish, the more memorable trip it will be but a decent one anyway.

It would be nice to have added points bewyond the 50 showup. And with a decent catch at the two day at paris landing regional the top finishers will go to swampland to fish the fishoff.

Seeing as how I havnt fished them all kind of doubt that but its about 700 miles so some may not desire to.

No never been there before either but would like to see it,maybe draw some local swampbuggy.

Either case its an adventure, something new and some quality time, regardless of the outcome.

Good for you!  You can't win if you don't enter, so I'd say this is a step in the right direction.

In this case, I'd have to say that going as a non-boater will work better for you than if you fished it as a boater.  As a boater, you'd be responsible for all the pre-fishing and locating the bass.  Now that job has been firmly placed on someone else, so all you have to concentrate on is catching fish!

Old Hickory lake, bass weekend series 7/27

Did so well on the last one with over a 4 lb average, just need to get two more to go with that 1,and do it on a lake ive never fished out the back end where i have no say in what boat does.

What im implying is catch is somewhat dependent upon the boater somewhat, and since ive never flipped prior for a T didnt do that awfull bad with 1 over 4,at the previous.

Nor had i ever flipped frogs prior lol.
