Your gonna love exit from main lake to 179,its two or a double s with the last turn being a 90 degree kiss your @$$ type, basically a narrow winding creek channel in,with about 1 ft of water outside its narrowness.I always get a rush going in but not driving it either.

I will have to call and check and make sure gas is open as the resorts have a closed season, but like many places open 1 day because of an event. It is a full service marina, yet neatly tucked where one would have a hard time finding it from the main lake if you didnt know about it.

Halfway and back each time would suffice as when you get back where you started at trailer is there, then double usage, for 1 leg of it then double that for a full  day..Next day coming from paris landing to where you turned around at and back and learning the channel somewwhat.

Other end is a slalom course,at 179 entering from main lake, ever run between two red bouys?

Course is 100 ft wide at its best and narrowd down to about 25 ft at one point, going outside either red is a no no,same at main channel at paris landing turn left and tell me if you see a green one where to turn in at,one is there way over on the right but thats a sub channel, another one about 2 miles in and thats a junction .Takes a bit of getting used to where I was from running between two red is a no no as rock or something, and still pucker factor when I go thu them.

Running a side channel on the west bank isnt advisable that late in the year, last year I went from 16 ft of water to 2 ft in a hearbeat, with steve cutting over to teh condo point about 100 yards to early, summer pool doesnt matter winter pool one bumps bottom,as i did before i could turn around.Had to idle good hundred yards to before sweat stopped, had a time refinding that sweet spot deep enough.

… you know… the one at 179. Do they have gas pumps there. One of the practice days I'm gonna make the full run from Paris Landing at WOT, conditions permitting, and see what it takes fuel wise. That way I'll have some idea as to wheather to pack extra fuel or not.
