Best learn how to bob out in the stuff, that day I tried the allison out was gusting to 60,yeah wicked.

But at the nationals its possible it just might hit the fan, however providing both the driver and passenger stay together it is possible,to catch a ride back or even get the truck and trailer and go back dunno if it would be a violation ,it states just have to remain together and does permit hitching a ride on another boat even.

Even so main lake with or would be 5 plus fters, one can fish in it,just tryijng to run in it is hard.

There id like to have an lcb and see what happened.Dunno if it would either am curious.

As the hole im banking on is 42 miles away.Any thing much above 2 1/2 ft would keep me from running that far, possibly three have to have some more seat time.

But 5 fters wold keep me in one of the nearby bays or in big sandy.Once around the point even a tracker 16 crappie buster would be viable. As its mostly out of the second and or third direction wind getting only one way.And one has spots in it can get out of that one as well.Cool

What?  You'd let a little 50 mph "chop" stop you from fishing???  I'm disappointed in you there Doug…

LOL, I agree, sustained winds of 30 mph gusting to 50 is just plain nuts and just about impossible to fish, even if you can find a place out of the wind.

I remember guiding on days when even with the trolling motor on high and nose into the wind, I was taking water over the bow and drifting backwards!  It was no fun at all.

There is a BassChamps tournament on Amistad today. Winds are forcast to be 35-40 gusting to 50+. I sho' am glad I'm not fishing there today. Bass Champs does allow trailering as conditions require. As you can imagine they're allowing trailering today! That lake is gonna be evil, nasty, wicked and mean today if you hit the main lake.
