Yes that area just directly across tradiionally holds veggies can be viewed when driving cross the bridge, several miles of shallow water out of the channel, however it may not this year, havnt driven across that bridge this year myself.

Oh and once in it over there its a ways to get back where one can use the big mota.

Three years ago had hydrilla and pads. And every mothers son that launched where you are landed there as well, again may not be as thick or even there.

Two years ago the one at paris landing ended 42 miles up lake, now hwere is it.

Pads were effected to some degree just not wiped out, thinned so to speak

I'm scowering satellite images of Barkely…. I've come across what looks like a big o'l patch of lilly pads in the mouth of neville bay(just across the river/lake from bumpus mills) looks like there's another patch ov'em 1/2 way back and then some more all the way at the back. But the largest concentration of them, if they are lilly pads, appear to be at the mouth of the bay. I first found this using google maps but google maps is real slow… so I jumped on bing maps… interesting thing is they show different water levels and in both cases the lilly pads are there. When the water is up it appears there are more ov'em than when the water is down.
