Stronest attendance has always been centered around the home state,ga,ala,nc,sc,virginia,tn,in part because the fishoff nationals are generally close to one of them, only year it hasnt it was in new england and that cut attendance.Every now and then it has to be in fla or tex or for that matter elsewhere, but the farther away from their home base the less attendance.

Kinda got off track but goes with how the place is geared-no state income tax-no parking meters-laid back-wave at strangers-and full fields on launch day generally.
