Stronest attendance has always been centered around the home state,ga,ala,nc,sc,virginia,tn,in part because the fishoff nationals are generally close to one of them, only year it hasnt it was in new england and that cut attendance.Every now and then it has to be in fla or tex or for that matter elsewhere, but the farther away from their home base the less attendance.

Kerr to clarks hill over to pickwick and up to ky lake-75 percent probability.

And the closer it it the more ramps and accomidations play a part.

Ive seen four flights at kerr and three different ramps used, here 250 boats can be launched but parking will be a a min, most likly will ask nonboaters to meet their boater elsewhere.

After turning in you will be in a line to launch,as each move up one gets the boat ready to float, its a four lane boat ramp, going out state police will stop traffic,so all leave at once.

Tournaments are the bread n butter here no #%^4$ around, you will find friendly faces and help if possible where needed, even the state police will refrain from writing a ticket if possible.

They give you a way out if you listen like did you just rotate or change tires different size?

Yes sir and no sir and you will be on your way.

And if in a line of T boats they could all pass a trooper at 72 mph in a 65 and he wouldnt bat an eye. Most likly be the escort if needed.

Ps we get those lil stickers when we donate to the police fund, even out of state stickers are of valued, and honored.

Big Bubba is here to serve and protect, and he does it quite well.

Schools eve have a police officer assigned to them, writes tickets, keeps an eye on the school you do not enter the lot as an adult, unless you have business or have a child there.

Kinda got off track but goes with how the place is geared-no state income tax-no parking meters-laid back-wave at strangers-and full fields on launch day generally.

I hope your stats will be eventually reported.

I fished this district, 119, in 2006. That was the first or second year of the district. There have been 3 tournament directors for this district. The first two did great. One ran it for a couple of years while the other only did it for one year – I think. I quit fishing ABA when they went to that stupid divisional/regional format and came back after they dropped it. But where I was going with this is district 119 has never drawn full fields on a regular basis. The big tournament fishermen don't want to burn up the fish on the meager ABA payouts, I'm guessing. The lakes 119 fish, while popular, aren't the most popular in the area. 119 fishes: Conroe, Livingston, Sumerville, Coleto Creek. But even District 51 has been strugglin' to get full fields and they fish: Choke Canyon and Falcon. Their 2 day is going to be on Amistad. Even District 53 which fishes Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend don't have full fields on a regular basis. They used to but not no'mo. Bass Champs may have something to do with that and their 20k to win Guarantee.

One last thing I cant believe in or on major lakes in Texas they would have 11 contestants, maybe the lack of interest in his districts tournaments are telling you something.

Last T and only T ive fished here had 43 entries, with double big fish pots.

No lack of interset here since the nationals will be at paris landing ,everybody and his brudder are lining up to fish.We do normally have a full field about 90 percent of the time.Shortest ive ever seen is 16,in two years, going on 3.

YUP… sucks! Outta the three tournaments that haven't been sent in I have a 50, 188 and a 195. Only the 195 is of any value to me. That would put me at 793 nationally. The two I won last weekend only got me 191 each day… Didn't do anything for me there either 'cept pay for that weekend and the one commin' up! Sad part is I've won 3 tournaments in district 119 and don't have much of a chance at AOY in that district! Hahahaha… now that's sick!

There was a director that did do that year or so ago, then skipped, aba doesnt like to talk about that stuff.Problem is they know you fished it but dont have the results, and may never ever get them,or those earned points.

Hate to say iit id fish other districts as you may not get those aforementioned points.

They cant report what they do not have, best snerario get money back.

Then again maybe they will be reported finally or found.

But that SUCKS

Ive got a whole 50 pts in lol,but still have about 6 I can fish prior to the 2 day

Yeah, you've got some problems with that Tournament Director that need to be addressed, and possibly by the law!

But it sounds like you had a good tournament, congratulations on the fine fish.

Welllll…. Guess who didn't show up? The director. He had cancelled the tournament without notifiying anyone but a guy in our district saw it on the ABA site and called the director of dist. 51 who agreed to run the tournament! There's a lot of unhappy campers in 119 and 51 because results have not been posted since last year. The general consensus is – the money was never sent in. Though he said it had been returned as undeliverable… Yeah Right!

Anyway… Lotta wind…. but no rain.

Friday – Pre-fished pockets and coves and saw a ton of beds. Male bass guarding everyone of them told me the major spawn was over. Nobody caught a big fish on Friday. I resorted to a finess rig and probably went through 2 limits of 2-2.5# fish. Threw a frog quite a bit and caught one or two but again 2 – 2.5#s

Saturday – Wind was down early and I went to a cove that had a lot of beds in it. Didn't fish the beds but chunked a finess rig around reeds and isolated wood cover. At about 10:00 I had three fish in the boat. One on a frog the other two on the finess rig. But… everyone was catching those kinds of fish. 10#s wasn't going to win it or if it did it would be by ounces difference. Soooo…. Ran to a hump I had fished in other tournaments to try to locate bigger fish. In approximately 45 minutes I had culled the three fish I caught earlier and limited out. I quit fishing at 11:45 simply because I felt I could not improve on what I had in the livewells. At weigh-in I had a total of 25.10#s and a big fish that went 7.12#s. Both good enough for the win and big fish. Second place came in at 16+#s and third was 10#s something.

Sunday – Started back at the hump…. First 30-45 mins…. Nothing. Then I started catching them again but not near as big. By 7:45 had a limit and by around 8:30 had culled 3 times and then the bite stopped. Fished there another 2 hours without a bite. Moved to a bank near deep water and started chunking a Trap and caught 3 keeper fish but they wouldn't cull anything I'd already caught. Sooo…. went back to the hump… Nothing. Started moving off the hump in to increasiingly deeper water…. A few 10″ fish but that was it. The last 45 mins. I ran up the river to a huge grass bed that was topped over in about 14' of water and chunked a frog looking for one BIG fish. Had a small one roll on it but that was it… Weigh-in time…. Ended up weighing in 15+#s which was good enough for the win but this time missed big fish by about 3/4's of a pound. Second place was 9#s something. Only 11 anglers both days so only 1st and 2nd got paid.
