Not managed to get out fishing that often recently due to a Winter that has been much harder than in recent years over here. My local lakes were frozen over with about 6 inches of ice & snow most of January and after a short thaw they re-froze frequently during February due to no wind to keep the surface moving and temperatures barely rising above freezing even during the day. I managed to catch when I could get out between freeze ups.

Must be nearly 20 years since I saw this lake completely frozen
over it's entire four miles x one mile

I was wondering how long it would take before someone posted in here. I've been a little shy of toothy critter photos since I moved south!

Nobody was posting to "Toothy Critters", so I had to start.
Here is a pic of one my son caught while we were walleye fishing last spring at Genoa Damn on the Mississippi River.
 
I caught this one right off the dock at our cabin…released it just the same…
