LOL, nah, a drill press isn't going to cut it. First of all, reloading dies are at least 7/8 of an inch in diameter, some larger. Most drill presses don't open up to take a one inch bit! And in order to resize spent brass, you need a lot of mechanical advantage, something a drill press doesn't offer.
No, I'm going to have to buy another press. I've been looking at eBay but jeez, there's no bargains to be had there as of last night. Some of the presses listed there are higher priced than buying new from the manufacturer! And that's before adding shipping costs…
So I'll just keep looking and pricing reloading presses. Right now, Lee seems to have the best price, and if it lasts as long as the last one, I'll be leaving it to one of my kids….
And I never reloaded for my elephant/rhino gun. Why should I? Garrett Cartridges keeps me well supplied with ammo. And with the way the bullets perform, I couldn't reload better ammo!

Metal press id say you got your use out of it,maybe a lil to many elephant and rhino rounds run thru it.
Ive got a drill press bet it would work, open the chuck enough for a 25/06 and press, but doubt if large calibers would. You have an upper fitting for that press?
Maybe tn engineer a way for it to fit on the drill press.Somewhere in my stuff ive got a 38 loader, and some semi wad cutters, along with some pistol powder.

The last day of the first whitetail rifle season has come and gone. The score is one antlerless muzzleloader deer and one antlerless rifle season deer, no bucks even seen!
So, I thought I'd do a little reloading tonight and out to the garage I went. I thought that I'd use the .45/70 during the first rifle season, and then on the 22nd, Tennessee deer hunters can use rifle, muzzleloader or bow, then I'd use the new .25-06 for the second season. In order to do that, I'd need more .25-06 ammo. And in order to do that, I'd have to reload some more.
So I lubed up the 15 cases from the empties in my one and only box of ammo. I set my re-sizing/de-priming die in the press and prepped the first case. On the second case to be re-sized, the darned press broke in half!!!
So now I have little ammo and no press to reload more…
This sucks! Now I have to see about getting a different reloading press…
