I believe we saved her life as I think she was being chased by a wolf until we came along…however, you can't run a deer for a mile and a half in -20 conditions with 2' of snow in the woods that has an icy crust on it. I hope she'll be okay as she was pretty big and I know she's carrying next year's stock.

Those are some really cool photos! I especially like the one of the running doe. She was really giving it all, wasn't she?

I should include that my wife took that photo of the deer as it got far enough to the left side of the road for me to buzz past it as fast as I could…this darn deer kept running even after I passed it…it was obviously scared of something and it wasn't me!

I'm a sucker for the outdoors…sometimes, when I'm hunting, I'm especially content to not see any deer when God has provided something cool for me to look at. SO…let's see your pictures!
I'm going to start with a couple from over the weekend of the road that goes to my cabin…it was a winter wonderland.

And, the deer were sticking to the roads…I followed this one for 1 1/4 miles and couldn't get by it. It had darted out at me out of nowhere and stood looking at me while panting with it's tongue hanging out like it had been chased for a long time by wolves or something…I was concerned about following it so I stayed back…it just kept running up the road…
