LOL, you ain't missin much by not reading the newsletters…All they are is the same old stuff in the brochures, just regurgitated.

And if I was a boat manufacturer and brought one or more of my people and boats to this function, I'd be P.O'd beyond belief!!

I knew there wouldn't be that many boats there, and I knew this would happen with attendance.  It's just not all that easy to get the time off and the money to head to Missouri for a fun weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind going, but I'm not going to trailer my rig that far for a couple hundred in prizes.

Just about what I anticipated… I organized 3 internet fishing rallies and the most that attended any one of them was around 60. I attempted to get him to set it up as a rally, fishing for plaques and bragging rights only with the main reason for showing up being to meet in person the folks you had been yackin' with on the internet. History will show just how far that idea flew. My thought was/is – Who's gonna tow a boat 8-10-12 or more hours to fish a tournament ??? Not I that's fer sure! Well maybe if it paid 25k or more to win but even then probably not.

I wonder just how many boat manufacture's are going to commit to supplying boats and manpower for a party of 13??? LOL…

Just as information… The orginal internet rally – Rally@Lake Fork was by far and away the largest and, at the time longest running rally, in its hayday pulled about 150 folks.

What ever became of the boat reviews? I still get spam from that site and I see they're delivering "Newletters" but I never bother to read'em so I have no idea what they contain.

The last I saw, he was ranting and raving about people not signing up and other people that said they might show up are now not coming.  One guy said he couldn't get off work, his response?  Get another job!  I guess he's got about a dozen boats that might show.  A far cry from the "hundreds" that were originally going to be there.

The whole thing has changed and it isn't to the better….

Actually couple of weeks yet,not going either, nor do I spend as much time there, for reasons you know about. And no, not wanting to discuss it,something in the past.

Their is a funny story about that T and BB reaction to how many were going to go,wont say it in print even though he did.

The banning of another member shortly ago, didnt help tht either(FRUGAL),havnt a clue, why.

That site has changed so much since its inception now they want to charge $ for selling a boat, think thats what it was or is all about, just guessing.

A great many of the moderators in areas their product covers are paid adverstising customers.

If you desire to learn  more create a ticket Do Not PM me HAHAHAHA

Meanwhile they can cut and paste all the ky lake guide reports they want.
