I went on Lake Link and offered to buy anybody that I met up north two beers for joining outdoorfrontiers. I believe I deserve a Nobel Piece Prize. I attempted to give out prizes to get one of my own! That's dedication.

I think we're getting a little off topic here. How about I post a Kentucky Lake thread under bass fishing? Think that makes a little more sense?

I sure do have both myself, live here, like you.
That tidbit is for those coming to ky lake just to visit or for the nationals and they must have a Tn lic if fishing out of Paris Landing, the Ky on their part is not manditory as most wouldnt venture so far north as to be out of the recipicial part.
I have mine due to ABA launching at Ky village up by the dam and over on Barkley.
Pays to be covered where ever you might drift,or go.

I think for the coming year, I'm going to have both a TN and a KY fishing license. That way I won't have to worry about where I'm wandering on the lake.

Actually with the ABA nationals being held on Steves back yard ,many search engines will pick up on fishing reports here on Ky lake.
I plan on posting quite a few myself, here some on kylake.com.
But here mostly,as its gets nearer to the nationals many new people will wander in,looking for tips on not only water, fish and boats, but for places to stay at,as they are somewhat limited super close to the ramp.
Paris being the next available place once they fill up.
Figgure many will stay at paris landing state park, that wont fill up so easily, some at the smaller motels near the ramp on 79,the rest spread around as many prefish a ways away and will stay nearby saving gas and time.
One thing about Ky lake there is no shortage of ramps, many one wont find on any map either.
One of the oddities about this lake is that about 10% of it actually is in Ky.Recipicial agreement for the main lake not coves between the 68 and 79 bridges, meaning either a Ky or a Tn lic.
Those fishing the nationals need a Tn lic,as weigh in is at Paris landing,a cove, and most will fish south of the 79 bridge.Very few will wander north past the 68 bridge or ventrure into blood river where a Ky is actually needed.
So all in all given time this web site will get increasingly busy, somewhat due to the or its relocation.

Well Doug, based on the fact you bring promise and hope to the board, your name has certainly been brought to the nomination committee……
But only moderators and admin can have editing capability.

And… IF I had an EDIT button I could change "BOAT" to "BOARD" in the previous post… but I don't…. So I can't!
When my division has tournaments, Jan. 16th is the next, I'll start posting ABA division 119 results, lake conditions, and a brief story line. That'll probably bring a few more hits and perhaps a few of'em will hang around.

In keeping with the standards recently applied by the Nobel Peace Prize committee….
Sometime in the future I may[I mean I will] bring new and active members to this boat so – gimme my prize now!

We here at OutdoorFrontiers like to be progressive and we want change. Well, with the new website, we've got some of the "change" that people were clamoring for.
But that just doesn't seem to be enough. So, with that in mind, I have a dream….
And I have a plan…
So here it is. It'd be great to have even more members here, so inspired by recent events, here's the offer for all OutdoorFrontiers members.
Refer a new member to sign up and participate in the website and you'll get a (drumroll please)….
A Nobel Peace Prize!!!
That's right! You too can have your own Nobel Peace prize, and you don't even really have to do much of anything…..
