I've already noticed the effect current has on the KY Lake bite.  The bite certainly seems to pick up when the current does.  Although that can make for some very interesting fishing by the bridges…  Wink

While the lake is at sunner pool already, and dropping it is apparently due to water on the ohio and miss, kinda looks like going to stay there off and on as we are again getting a light thunderstorm with rain-lol coming down in buckets.

Most of it came right up the miss and turned right so the ohio is getting it as well, and while they have been letting some out wont be long before they let even less, that time of year.

Currently 60,000 cubic ft a sec going thru, guessing mind you but at the narrow 79 bridge that creates about a 3-3,5 mph current.

Thats one thing that never touted the current ,everyone says wing and yes it has a lot,but the current as well is suprising.

That is what makes the ledge bite current.

I never worry about being flooded though im on top of a hill at 603 el,lake is at 359 now or thereabouts.

So its just about that time of year (early) for the flooded picnic table pattern.
