Clark County, Nevada has built a large public range in the northwest corner of the valley. It is a large facility and it is supposed to have several other ranges added in the future.
Since it is a government facility they have a couple of restrictions such as no human image targets and full auto firearms have to be shot from a bench. The benefits are it is a new facility that only charges $7 per day to shoot on the rifle, pistol, and archery ranges; 17 and under is free. Birds seem economical with a discount for 17 and under.
This place is beautiful!
Everything in green on the map is close to being completed, all of the roads to access the parts that are being completed are finished.

I have seen everything that is open to the public except the hunter safety building.
I have volunteered to be part of the staff. Due to funding issues there aren't any full time positions being offered. There may be some part time jobs in the future.
I am planning on getting my hunting rifles sighted in and am considering trying to get a deer tag next year.
