I like to start out with a bang,c4,dynamite,rotonone,120v dc one lead to motor one to troller, dont fall inbetween, then jig straight up and down for close in fish.

Like many topwater if possible first, then a spinnerbait or DBBB,or a fluke, after that whatever is in order to get bit.

Going to test the dbb again shortly, just as soon as they start chasing in ernest its a top bait.

If you get hard up Steve has one,he isnt using.

I start the day with a fluke – fleein' fluke that is. I chunk it most all day long. But in the morning if it's not attracting any attention and depending on cover/structure I move to either a jig or a swimbait…. If I'm around hard cover wood/rock… I'll sling a Trap til the cows come home or a 4-8' crankbait. If I still ain't getting bit… C'rig. And if I still ain't getting bit… c'rig. Thoughout the day I will continue to try the fluke both fleein' and dyin' presentations. Frogs if the cover is there. But if it's tough…. c'rig… But IF I give up on the c'rig(seldom happens) I put the trolling motor down… shallow running crankbait or rat-l-trap and cover lotta water.

Don't though much topwater anymore but when I do its a spook, chug bug or pop'r.

When I hit a lake for a day of fishing, I have a routine that I go through.

Usually, if I get on the water, I'll start out with a fast moving topwater like a BuzzrBait or Horny Toad, hoping for a bite on top.  If that works, I'll stay with that until it dies off.

Then I'll move to a quick-moving search bait like a spinnerbait or crank.

If that doesn't work, then I'll go to a fluke or wacky rigged senko style lure.

That's usually where I'll stay, although I've been trying other lures and presentations lately, without a lot of success I might add.

This is all assuming a stable weather pattern and normal water levels.

What do you do?
