Actually I am still uncertain what I am going to spool my reels with this season. I am leaning strongly towards braid. Either 10lb Power Pro with no leader for all applications including DS, or 20lb Power Pro or Suffix with a Fluro leader.

Well, I believe that I've stated my preferences in the past. I use PowerPro for just about all of my fishing applications. About the only thing I vary is the diameter/breaking strength, depending on the rod and application.
And I don't believe that a leader is needed, however I'll let that call be made by others. I just don't believe that a fish can reason out what a line is and that it leads to danger….
Yes, 10LB PP. I am leaning that way with no leader for sure. Steve, you have a ton of experience and have guided as a pro and made a living at it for years. So your advice ranks above any others in my book.

While I have tried Seaguar flourocarbon line in the past, I haven't specifically tried Tatsu line.
The Seaguar line I've used in the past was decent with much better knot strength than Berkely Vanish line!
I think LilMule has the right idea. Give the Tatsu a try and let us know what you think of it!

I hear there nothing but high raves about Seaguar Tatsu Fluorocarbon line. It's been in Japan for some time now, and is now available here in the USA. Has anyone been lucky enough to test this product out?
