No truck involved unless you need one to haul your catch back with, was about DBBB,and do toss one once Steve that will be a kodack moment.

Remember its not a buzzbait slow roll it,then hang on.

Its lift lets it go real slow and turn the blades still, and resembles a multi bladed spinnerbait on the retrieve.

Ive said that so many times, given them away, yet im the only person who uses one so its a semi joke.

Oddly I do catch fish with because I do use it,its sort of against the grain I guess.

Dont really know other than that, the design works and works as well as anything else one would toss here,in general meaning some days on some days off.But more days on than say a buzzbait and about equal to a spinnerbait on amount of hits, yet it and a chatterbait they smack when they wont a spinnerbait,so in another sence the jokes on everyone who wont toss one.

In some one elses words It just aint right

Yep, I've got one to try.

But you have to remember I was hired by Secret Weapon Lure Company to film THEIR new lure, not to show another….

I'll save that for another day.

Ya missed your chance could have at least pulled out the DBBB and got some weird looks after retrieving it subsurface.

And Doug while here at least toss one once just to view it on the retrieve, bread n butter with the blade flash just in sight.

Could always tie it on one pole for disinformation purposes, they would all think buzzbait.

And yes Steve has one for you to try.

Well, because right now, all of the video is in the hands of Secret Weapon Lures.  They have a production company hired to edit all the footage, I was just in on some of the shooting.

Life is good once in a while.  And I suppose working on a TV show helps too.

Secret Weapon Lures is one of my sponsors, and as I am a member of their pro-staff with a "little" pull, I was blessed yesterday with having Joe Haubenreich (the president of SW Lures) as a guest in my home.  Joe was here to do some filming with me.

He needed some footage of a new lure they're coming out with, The Slog.  So we went out on Kentucky Lake and filmed the lure every which way from Sunday, top, side and bottom, with my regular HD video camera as well as my underwater HD camera.

The Slog is an interesting concept in lures.  It works great as a topwater bait, but also works down to almost 6 feet, so it makes a great crankbait/subsurface lure.  The genius is in the head of the lure, which has a uniquely designed bill that gives it a great wobbling action.  And it's to this head that a Mustad TripleX hook is attached.  The other part of the head's genius is the clip system that allows you to change the body from a Snake, to a Lizard, to a Pollywog, hence the name; Slog.

So we filmed all this fottage yesterday for a promotional video, and when it was all done, I found myself the proud new owner of a set of Slog lures.  So with several different color heads, and some different colored bodies, I literally have hundreds of color/body style combinations to choose from!

Once in a while, life is good….Cool
