Well Andy, if you wanna do it the way I did, it's simple.

First of all, go buy a Plano 3700 tackle box.

Then cut all the little dividers apart and install them in the tackle box.

Then go and buy enough hooks in various colors, shapes and sizes to fill all the compartments.

Voila', you're done!  Cool

Seriously though, that's what I do have and pretty much have done.  And I've used and many times replaced just about all of the hooks in that box.

But I guess what you need to do is figure out what size lures you use and get hooks sized for those.  In my box for bassin', I've got everything from #1 Octopus hooks to 5/0 EWG hooks and use them all.

If I had to break it down to the two hooks I use the most, it would be a 1/0 Octopus and a 5/0 EWG hook.  As for manufacturer, I use primarily Gamakatsu and Eagle Claw LazerSharp hooks.

Buying hooks these days is complicated to say the least.Surprised You have many brands, types, sizes, etc. The question is. How to choose the right brand, size, and type?

Wacky rig?

Texas Rig?

DS?

C-Rig?

Hook size related to the bait size?
