Desiring to learn what and how the bass liked them rigged a 6 in money minnow up ,with a wide gap 7/0 hook,no weight.

Then proceeding down to paris landing state park and throwing,while one can work on top if you reel fast and hold rod tip up,it when weightless is better suited to working like a fluke,no doesnt turn quite as much but enough.Only took a pic of one as all same size,kinda thin as well.

Seems a pod of bass all the same size had invaded and others as well caught fish,one group next to me staying at the AOL campground I snapped as well.

But now know the secret when shallow weightless,think that thick weight also limits the amount of hook available.
