I freely admit ten pd power pro on a spinning ouftit is often better in windy conditions,clear water,and when I did buy that last line it was 20 lb power pro as elliot was out of ten,now permanently out I guess since he closed.

i also think its the spinning outfit with its underslung guides,I did get some bites felt ones just not connecting.

Main lake water temp was 55f,we found some bays with 57 f.

Water a week ago was stained 47f and keepers had moved onto the rocky shallow points and were pounding jerkbaits,dark colored ones.

Now after a week of warm days and no rain clear as a bell,and not large fish up shallow,steve had wanted to try his boat out,and troller,I appreciated the ride,and the time out with a friend.

He caught all the fish and one was a keeper all on unweighted sinkos same areas before mostly that they had been hitting jerkbaits,he also had a second keeper to the boat,but fishing for fun so didnt want to net,it parted ways at the boat.

Mostly the bite was mushy,just there either loading the rod up or acting weird on retrieve,I did get a few bites ,but the spinning outfit with ten pd power pro was superior to my baitcaster with 20 pd power pro,less bow in the line.
