Forum | march 12th fishing report sort of

Somehow while editing my photobucket removed my pic here it was of a 12 in bass or thereabouts.

Basic thats whats in the back ends nothing of importance as of yet

Having some frustration to work out and some free time,went down to Paris landing to fish from the bank.

We had just had a gully washer rainstorm,and a lull occcured so off I went.

With  Steve Huber signature series flippping stick,20 pd braid and a 5 in jerkbait,about the fith cast the rod gave a weird thump like the lure had hit bottom,it hadnt a 6 in bass had imapled its mouth on that large jerkbait.Several casts later and some half hearted slaps later I decided to move a  bit.

Tossing a smaller pointer jerkbait on a carrot stix rod,with 12 lb mono and a lews reel,this hit hit on the first cast.Water temp 48 f ,big ones just arnt in the back as yet,but at least doubled in size anyway.
