I've never fished Falcon Lake, although I have fished other Texas waters.  So you're going to be Carolina rigging and crankbaiting?

If I were you, I'd keep one rod rigged with a Recoil Rig and give that a try from time to time as well. 

I wish I was going with you, I need to get on the water soon!

Come Feb. 10th I'm going there for 5 days. Gonna go down Wednesday and prefish 3 days for two - one day ABA tournaments…. Man I hope they're biting. Went to Choke Canyon expecting to get yanked outta the boat. Ended up winning one of the one days with a tad over 11#s. Folks at the ramp said they couldn't remember the last time 11#s won a tournament on Choke Canyon… Well a friend of mine won the next day with a tad under 12#s.


Even better… the prefered technique, it appears, on Falcon is ….. C'rigging…. Yeah, buddy. But hope my new crankin' stick gets a work out too!
