You got me listed as your beneficiary yet? If you're going to Conroe, I definitely want to be listed in your will….
Although it will be a good test for your boat…

Plan 'B' kickin' in…. Sisters house is getting new carpet and new living room furniture so won't be going there. Now the plan is Lake Conroe…. And while I am interested in stressing the repairs…. Conroe is evil, wicked, nasty and mean on the weekend's. It's a "upper crust" lake w/ga'zillion dollar homes and boats on it. It's not all that big. Except real close to the dam the average depth is about 15', but it's got it's Fountain boats and the likes and as stated on the weekend it's almost impossible to run on the south end unless you happen to have one of those Fountains, Donzi's or comparable off-shore boat. Soooo…. I'll go during the week next week. Gear is loaded – for the most part. Hull has quit draining water, engine runs and it has fuel and oil… Va'rooommmmm…..

Ok, if your sister is there, going to Toledo Bend makes sense. I just was thinking that you were going there because it was water you wanted to fish.
If I put you as a beneficiary… I think that'll mean you'll have to pay all my unsecured debts! But yeah…. I'll fer sure put ya' on there!
Deal!

Don't you have a nearby lake that you can dump the USS Turkey Parts in and test it??? I'd rather do that than take a chance on it coming apart on a big lake!
Failing that, you want to put me as your beneficiary on the insurance and the will???
I live between Galveston and Houston. Can you say "Salt Water"…. I've got some brackish water within about a 20min. drive. But…. It's a creek/canal and ain't no where nor no way to open the boat up. My sister lives on Toledo Bend and they have a ramp in their sub-division. So I can dunk it there and stay close to her place. If it sinks…. I can swim to shore and have lunch with'er! There's places close to her house I can run and still get back on the tolling motor if needed. Or swim to shore as the case may be. Plus I'm gonna try to complete the set up on it as I think the engine is still 1/2-3/4″ low AND…. I'm gonna fish while I'm there! The closest fresh water lake is about a 2 hour drive. Toledo Bend is about 3-3 1/2. But I can stay ov'a nite for free… and eat for free…

Duh should have read it all they generally say a ten year old can assemble-so go get one.
And did you also take a shortcut to grandmas thru the woods?
Kinda think its the law suits and them actually being settled or paid that tend to make insructions even rather easy ones quite liengthy.
Almost government like aint it did you know congress funded a study on why children fall offf bycycles for 160 k,answer was duh they lose their balance.
Shute you are gonna get that thing wet, take a wetsuit just in case it disolves.

OK… I just finished installing a new fuel tank sending unit and that solved the problem. But on the way to grandma's house I read the instructions, no getting around it but….. You solve this riddle!
Moller sending unit instructions – in part.
"…carefully install gasket over float and around sending unit. CAUTION: Gasket holes are NOT symetrical and will only fit ONE way….. Insert sending unit into tank. If you hit an obstruction with the float arm – ROTATE 90 degrees."
I am here to tell you…. the sending unit will only go in ONE way. If you hit an obstruction you are SOL! I wanted to have the float perpendicular to the width of the tank for the most accurate reading – wasn't possible. Float arm had to be facing foward.
And another riddle courtesy of Moller:
"… Using the table at the bottom of the instructions determine the required float arm length. Mark the float arm at this length. Then move the float and locking clips such that the outter edge of the float is 5/16″ short of the mark!"
And folks wonder why guys don't read instructions…
