There are things that are needed in boats. I probably carry more than I need to, but besides my tackle, I carry;
- small tool kit
- spare trolling motor prop, nut and a couple shear pins
- 50' 3/8″ rope with heavy duty snap on one end
- 12' docking rope (2)
- removeable rod holders (2)
- fire extinguisher
- spare pliers (in glove box)
- small hemostat (in glove box)
- 32 lb. Richter anchor w/100' rope
- 20 lb. river anchor w/100' rope
- several different spare reel spools with line (in glove box)
- spare boat ignition key (hidden in boat)
- butane lighter (in glove box)
- sunscreen (in glove box)
- spare coffee mug
- spare rain gear
- inflateable PFD (2)
- throwable floatation device
- spare PFD
- spare windbreaker
- Boga Grip
- electronic digital scale
- small (36″) tape measure (in glove box)
- plastic prop wrench
- jumper cables
- roll of electrical tape
- spare fuses
- small first aid kit
- spare spinning reel
- spare baitcast reel
Without actually digging through my compartments, I believe that's about all the stuff I carry. Like I said, I probably carry too much, but I'm curious what others keep in their boats.
