I'd stop in and have a little "Heart to Heart" talk with the goober that calls himself a boat mechanic.  Just sitting idly by is telling him that his behavior is all right!

It's NOT!!!

He's had the boat for what?  Three months for a simple engine rebuild?  That's totally unacceptible.  Yell

3 months… Unacceptable?????? Heck I'd'a been happy to get mine back in 3 months… Hey wait… I did get it back in three months – the first time.

Mite wanna ask the mech'a'nenick if he really wants this job…. If not… gemme my engine and "ALL" the parts n' pieces!

Same old story be in next thursday, when that comes then its the next thursday.
Sold my manual allison jack plate,I had installed the bobs hydraulic as couldnt seem to sell it,many others have sold stuff like cmc for like 550 for them(they only cost 750 to begin with).
Seems to be a built in amount many will spend regardless of what its worth,oh their loss, guess il finally send the warranty card in,anyway it then freed up the manual that was on it,so placed up for sale, gone shipping today.
Going to another  allison, but not a bb,plain race boat that reynolds used to own,now in frankfort ky.So while removed from mine still going fast, much faster than I ever would at that.
Other than getting the piston actually here, its all done 2 hrs to put humpty back together.
Honing, new wrist pin bearings and a porta rican charm to ward off evil spirits.

What's the latest scoop on the Allison?  Is that goober ever going to get your Evinrude running or is he just hoping that you'll die of old age before he has to put the outboard back together??  Confused
