No it isnt but should be average 21 ft boat with top end hp costs twice as much as the last new car we bought,it can be recalled even ten years later and fixed.

Boat mfg expect public chump to eat it,smile and be happy and buy another from them.

Best advertising is a satisfied customer, worst advertising  is a displeased one for good reason.

Considering the troubles, repairs, cost to you ,time taken by you a and apparntly to no avail.

Im hard ball, they should have stopped work on the new boat taken yours in repaired at no cost to you,as was a known resin mix problem for that year,as a result wont ever consider buyiing one.

Now that its in the open the repairs cost and the fact repairs wernt suitable and it publicly broke on first few attmpts in getting wet they are interested in what has now become their problem.

Frankly id say keep it,put it somewhere in your inventory where the sun does not shine.

Then again it aint mine and am I glad.

Im of the opinion on any boat if well taken care of stored inside in bad weather etc.even 30 years later it might have crazing or stress cracks but no loose top cap or transom. If it does then the mfg used inferior methods,or inferior materials, and even if onkly 1 out 10 in a certain time period were  done that way then they just like a car mfg should recall all and fix or replace.

Knowing that some are out there and getting it fixed is questionable that alone condems that company to me for eternity.

Its a good thing im not say the attorney general, they would have to mail letters to all owners and fix or go defunct, even say 1980 model boats if mfg incorectly with defects, wheres ol Ralph Nader when you need him lol.

No confusion, figgured from other posts repair was a recomendation from the factory, which does not lend any credance to any theing else.

They did work on it they built it,and no boat taken care of in a decent  manner, which you do should ever seperate on its own, secondly a recomended shop should also be able to reapair it and have it hold for many many years, not couple of trips out.

Second repair same place no way in ell,be like going back and giving business to the guy who blew my 200,like sure give him another try for 8 grand or so.Was highway robbery to do it the first repair and not repair it correctly. That money spent should have gotten you a older boat that was rebuilt looked like new rode like new and doesnt break.

Allison only charges about that for a rebuild and it looks like a 2010 model 2002 then.(same model no changes until fastbass)

Fortunately I dont own it wouldnt be interested in repairing again,id be afraid to trust it.

Me id utube it being crushed, and send everyone involved a personal copy

While you may or may not have had a normal one.

Owning a Gambler is just to much of a gamble it seems.

Must be some confusion here. Gambler has never worked on the boat before. It was S&A Leisure in Welaka, Fl. that is guilty of all the misdeeds. When it first needed work I contacted Bob Ackerbloom at Gambler about repairing the boat. His shop was too busy rolling out a new boat, the Sterling, and couldn't take it in. He recommended S&A Leisure, Scott Smith(the owner) and Lee Authur(The Butcher of Welaka) did the actual screwups! Now Bob is able and willing to fix it – at no cost to me – I think. I told him how it was repaired last time and he was surprised as he commented "…I don't know what's going on. They know what they're doing…" Appearently the guy that used to fix boats at S&A Leisure retired and this Lee Authur is now doing the work – and I use that word very liberally.

By now i think its clear they dont acare either or wouldnt keep it months then toss a bandaid on it.

And if the guy couldnt fix it the first few times why can he now in just 2 days???????

Ps doesnt ount to be a weiner if the repair wont hold up to a mild ky lake.It was on good behavior while you guys were here.

And dont super glue it and call it a weiner again I have to get a starter solenoid and a starter i think, but the boat floats no cracks etc, certainly no loose top cap

Best advertisement you could give both gambler and the reapir people would have been if the back end acttually fell off.Id ask for 225,000 cash or be all over the net.

Just from the remote experience you couldnt give me a gambler, was worried you might want to leave the thing here, although still would have stored it just out of sight .

Got it all sparkling clean. Even pressure washed the rigging compartment to remove all the foam fuzzies. Cleaned the hull, topcap, and washed the carpet. Then went over it with bassboat saver. Ready to head to Groveland, Fl. A bit of phychology at play here don't'cha' know. Hoping they'll see it and wanna do a good repair vs seeing an ol'dirty boat and thinkin' well the owner don't care about it – why should I? Still don't know when I'm heading out though. Gotta finish the outdoor kitchen which I should do this week. Then maybe… just maybe… I'll head to Florida next week. Hopes high expectations low.
