Unfortunately for someone, he'll clean it up, fix just enough to make it appear that it's a great boat, and he'll sell it.  I doubt he'll get $32,000 for it, but he'll get close enough that it won't matter.

Gamblers are a sharp looking boat, and people get stupid when the look to buy a sharp looking boat.  All they see are the sharp lines and sparkles, and won't take the time to really dig into the interior of the boat, motor and trailer.

Of course too, there's always the chance that Doug has just about replaced everything that can be replaced and there won't be another problem with the boat…..  Wink

Yeah…. that's one of the reasons I got kicked off'a BBC… I told'em with my first Gambler I was "Blinded by the light" and refused to be drawn in by the flash/bang. Then I started critiquin' the new boat and boy howdy… you'da thought I slapped a hornets nest with a big o'l stick….

I don't think he'll get anywere close to 32k…. Maybe…. just maybe…. 25k. The day I picked it up I could tell it had been rode hard and put away wet it just had that look to it. Some boats look well cared for – this one did not.

You could very well be right on the money!!!

You have supplied the correct answer! However, I'm sorry to say, we're not awarding prizes for correct answers today! Please, try again tomorrow!

If you are correct you will receive your very own custom emroidered Gambler jacket. I checked and I'm sorry to report it only has "Gambler Bass Boats" on the back and doesn't have their omnipotent – "Commitment to Exellence!"

My last tournament is June 12-13. I will pick it up sometime after that – depending on work schedule and when I feel like making that long stinkin' drive! OH yeah and depending on if it's even ready or not!

I gave 400 $ for my first bass boat, then got a motor for another 300,45 hp chrysler, gave 500 later for a 50 merc,3200 for my next 15 ft skeeter w 90 merc,700 for a phantom,1800 for a 135 hp,7,000 for a ranger with 150 gt put 1000 hrs on her with no major repiars to boat or trailer, not even a bearing went out,4000 for a 21 glassport with a 200,and 3,000 for a 22 ft jaguar, then 7200 for ann allison with a pumped 200 on it,all of those together dont equal that much then actually sold them and got some back. And all put together didnt have as much go wrong as that thing has.

As far as service that 373 v ranger was undoubtably the best, didnt fish bad either but rather slow ride nowdays 59mph (150hp)  and it didnt like ky lake waves packed three ft apart.

And no I wouldnt give $32 for it,have enough pain in the wrong places.

I guess I belong to a thing of the past dont care what group my battery is as long as its 12 v holds up(2 years usage) and costs under 75 bucks. And donest break my back putting the dang thing in.

Hmm nice long list of reasons not to buy that brand, youve done more to it than any two of my actual junk salvage yard  boats.

AND THEY WANTED HOW MUCH FOR IT ?

This rollin'/ floatin' disaster is a 2007 Intimidator w/ 2005 225 ProXS. The guy wants 32,000.00 for it. I wouldn't give 32.00 for it… OK I would.

Oh yeah… didn't mention replacing one group 29 trolling motor battery with one of my new ones…. Of course the one with the dead cell is going back in before this… this….. "thing" heads back to Florida.

I've had it since October of '09. In that amount of time I've:

1.) Bled the brakes twice

2.) repaired broken brake line

3.)Tie-wrapped brake lines to axle tube(4 wheel disk brakes on this trailer)

4.) Replaced 5 valve stems

5.) Repaired/replaced 6 sheared bolts @ compressor pulley

6.) Change lower unit lube(actually have changed it 4 times but the first time was not my doing)

7.) Repack trailer bearings and seals

8.) Replace one hub assembly, complete

9.) Replaced one livewell aereator pump motor

10.) Removed brake actuator and attempted to repair – parts not available from Mfg.(we can sell you a new actuator she said… No thanks… said I.) Cleaned it up reinstalled – still leaks meaning – no brakes.

11.) Repaired trolling motor bracket.

Additionally…

The Lowrance flasher in the console has never worked. Checked connections/leads. Put dielectric grease on connectors to no avail – still doesn't work.

The Lowrance x-110 on the bow quit working 2 months ago. Took it apart to see if it was a simple fix. A one word answer – No!

Sooo…. when the shop owner gets this hunk'a'junk back it will still be a hunk'a'junk but it'll be in better shape than when I got it!
