What baits would I throw on the following lines?  Well, let's see….

Spinning Reels 10 lb Power Pro - Wacky Rigged & occasionally Texas Rigged stick baits, Texas Rigged Zoom Super Flukes, Tubes (rock points/open water), Shakey Head Worm, Recoil Rig (dropshot)

Bait Casters 30 Lb Power Pro – Crankbaits, Texas Rigged worms, Carolina Rigged worms, spinnerbaits, Tubes (in thicker cover), Zara Spook, Pop R, Sammy

Bait Casters 50 LB Power Pro – Spinnerbaits, Swimbaits, Frogs, BuzzRbaits, Recoil Rig (heavy cover), Jigs

I'm sure I'll think of more once I hit "Post Reply"….  Confused

Myself i seldom use braid on cranks yet one can but rod should be more limber than one using say mono.

C rig i run braid ever since it came out to the leader then mono out from or on it so can break it off easier.

Spinnerbaits mostly use mono but also use 20 pd powerpro it seems to do ok,guess its somewhat  what one prefers and has luck with.

Suspect the 20 pd would do ok on cranks especially rattletraps used around grass, again a more limber tip.

Worming ,crigging, frogging are hard to beat with braid of any kind,I have used 30 lb on topwater baits as stripers will swipe them at times.

Guess sometimes we are creatures of habit,I still use mono for 90 percent of craniking and spinnerbaits-nice to have an open mind and still be learning.

Toss this ol dog a new trick if you learn some good ones.

This season by trial and error, feel, advice from forums members I have settled on using braid. My set up are as follows.

Spinning Reels 10 lb Power Pro (Drop Shot, Finesse, T Rig)
Bait Casters 30 Lb Power Pro (Cranks, T Rig, C Rig)
Bait Casters 50 LB Power Pro (Spinners, Frogs, Cranks)

What baits would you throw on the above lines?

Thanks,

Andy
