Man TN, if I were you, I'd pay the fee to fish it.  This particular spot is pretty darned amazing for frog fishing.  Lil Mule and I actually darned near won a tournament and basically fished the same area all day.  If I hadn't had a 4 and a 5 pounder die in my livewell, I think we would have won.  We were only 1/2 pound out of first, and took a one pound penalty….Yell

Man that makes me drool!  Want to start doing some pitchiing/flipping or toss some frogs!  We have one lake here that looks similar but it is an electric only lake and you have to pay extra to fish there, but being a shore fisherman, I am thinking more and more  about it!

Yes grass is in short supply on the main, lily pads however occur in several bays, along with pondweed.

Between the last two years of heavy spring flooding and the TVA, the weeds in the Paris Landing area are pretty much gone.

I add the TVA to the mix because I heard of a guy that stayed in a Paris motel for almost two weeks, and he was flying a helicopter over the lake at night, spraying.  And the reason I believe that he was spraying is that there used to be some really great weed beds back in the ends of some bays and protected coves.  Even those weed beds are now gone…  Cry

Is that on Kentucky?  Looks like a great place for flipping/pitching and tossing a frog!  Makes me drool!

I heard the floods killed off a lot of the vegetation on kentucky lake, is that true?

Well of course the weeds are returning and the frogs are still out.  I'm still deer hunting!  If I had killed a couple more deer, it'd be freezing cold and the lake would be iced over….  Yell
