I miss those brown fish!  I've caught a few smallmouth since moving to Tennessee, but no where near what I used to catch in a single weekend!!!

Lil Mule's right, the weather's been weird all over.  Last summer was very mild, now this year was the hottest on record since 1968!  It was actually too hot to fish for me most of the summer….  :(

But that is a VERY fine smallmouth, and I'm glad to hear that you're still heading up there.  And I'm also glad to hear from you Chris!  Smile

Well its been weird this year up in North Wis as we usually fishing up by Sayner ,Wis right after Labor Day. The water was still in the mid 60's and front after front moved in every other day :)

Seem to keep the smallie's it seemed in their summer patterns as all the fish we did catch seem to be loners and not grouped up like years prior, but on the side note we did see and heard that the rusty crayfish has pretty much died out due to no plant life and did hear that there was a virus that killed most of them , so we did see allot of plant growth this year and hope for next to see even more.

The LMB did seem to be much more healthier and fatter which was good to see.We did have a 6-8 smallie and then about 5 hr later same boat this 6-15 smallie

What was really weird as this spring went there during Memorial weekend and the water was 75 and the smallie just started their spawn which years prior its usually in the upper 50's to lower 60's but had to good time

Well we had good trips both times and looking forward to next year…………………….
