Just got off the phone with Morris @ ABA. There is no "linking" during nationals. There is no guaranteed use of boat during nationals. I tried bribing with the offer of two observers for the nationals... Nope! Just the draw and luck of it. However I did draw an observer ...

The upper elevations are "higher" than the lower elevations. That's why some of the numbers are bigger than the others......

According to that report lake temps should be in the low 80's upper 70's this week!

If you look at that report it has a reading for "upper elevation" and "Lower elevations" what the heck are they talking about. the Upper is 356 +/- for both lakes ...

Navionics cd,my gold is almost the same,and does show more when zoomed in,your correct in that more costly do more things some hoever on some lakes show more detail.

As for Barkley it has to be there to show,look at that one map I put up showing bumpus mills,it however was ...

I believe you're incorrect when you say the more a map chip cost the greater the detail. My research indicated that if the map is HD... It's HD across the board. The more you pay the more coverage(more lakes) ...

Over here in Texas we call it zooming in or zooming out. You can believe I've zoomed in down to 1/8mile will go lower but indicates "over-zoom" whatever that means. On the barkley map precious few of the coves show any detail at all - zero, zip, nada.... Saline Creek ...

Gps or cd like navionics hotmaps all give more detail when scrolled in,so upon landing use that feature to view all depth contour changes.Each map version showing more than a lesser costly map,premium,gold,silver,reg hotmaps.

On many of the navionics chips one has to enlarge,in order to see smaller depth countours,ok when off plane but to enlarged to run on as would be looking at 100-200 ft in front of you.

If you have the navionics cd for computer its the same does not show those ...

Yes that area just directly across tradiionally holds veggies can be viewed when driving cross the bridge,several miles of shallow water out of the channel,however it may not this year,havnt driven across that bridge this year myself.

Oh and once in it over there its a ways to get back where ...
