A New Field Editor for OutdoorFrontiers
We have a new contributing field editor to the OutdoorFrontiers family who will be sharing information on the wonderful world of bass fishing. Say hello to Charles Graham MacLeod-Stuart. Charles is known throughout the USA and Canada as “The Bass Doctor”.
Born in the UK and educated in London, Harrow and Petersham in England. He is a direct descendant of the old Royal Stewart/Stuart family and can trace his roots to the British aristocracy, the Duke of St Albans, the Duke of Richmond, the Earl of Euston, Lord Montague of Beaulie and the Duke of Monmouth!
Working in the airline and related industries for over 36 years, he has traveled to the far corners of the world, living and working in the Middle East (Iran, U.A.E.), the Far East (Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan), Europe (Luxembourg, England, Ireland and Turkey), the United States (New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania), in Canada (Ontario and Quebec). Charles will soon be moving back to the States in the Bolingbrook, Illinois area.
A British and American citizen, Charles loves to write almost as much as he loves to fish. He can also talk up a storm on a number of subjects including travel, dance and music (oh he also sings and has memorized over 1000 songs!), global culture, European (in particular his own families) history as he is related to several well known people (see his BLOGS), Americana and the New York Yankees, but most importantly, his love of fishing!
He has appeared on radio (DJ, guest and promoter), television (actor, spokesperson and guest) and on the stage.
Fishing from the age of 6 (thanks to his father who just happened to like a riverside English pub on the River Thames in Kew, England), Charles has had a love of the sport that has
transcended the Atlantic Ocean and now finds him bass fishing here in North America. He fished club level tournaments until he found the confidence to try and fish in the major leagues. After a “tough” start with the REDMAN Tour (now the BFL) Charles moved on to the BASSMASTER Invitational series from 1997 to 2003. The fishing was no picnic, but he came away with some outstanding sponsorships and a fishing education that would (in any other field) leave the recipient with a degree! Charles is still a New York State certified fishing guide, a published writer and respected public speaker.
His mind is a sponge for knowledge of the sport and that knowledge has translated into his writing and oral skills. Simply by reading his articles, allow Charles to guide you and share with you his passion, fishing for bass. Expect to see Charles’ articles in the very near future right here on OutdoorFrontiers!
